Award of $20,000 to a USA news reporter or journalist to recognize exceptional radio, television, and streaming media news coverage related to healthcare policy and issues. The award recipient will be selected for outstanding reporting that increases public awareness, creates change in health policy, and gives rise to new insights and fresh perspectives. Entries will be accepted from staff employees of national or local news organizations, nationally distributed cable programs, online streaming platforms, or freelance journalists.

Award of $20,000 to a USA author of digital content for outstanding writing related to healthcare. The selected award recipient will be honored for excellence in online content published during the preceding year that explores issues in the area of health and healthcare systems.

Applications will be accepted from organizations in the states of California, Colorado, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, Washington, and West Virginia, and Quebec, Canada. Preference will be given to programs in communities near Purdue Farms' major facilities.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International nonprofit organizations for programs to enhance the health of the LGBTQ+ community. Eligible proposals are those that address physical and behavioral health issues, including but not limited to substance abuse, HIV and AIDS, basic needs, and health equity.

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and individuals to benefit individuals experiencing hardship. Priority areas of focus include health challenges, mental illness, education, and drug abuse. Funding is intended to support and encourage people in overcoming obstacles and achieving goals.

Scholarships to USA family members of fallen or disabled military service members and first responders. Scholarships are available for tutoring, private school, and higher education. Eligible applicants are dependants and spouses of military service members and first responders.

Grants to USA, Canada, and International bass fishing organizations and groups for conservation projects. Funding is intended to engage youth in projects that benefit fisheries. Eligible activities include protecting and enhancing fish habitats, boater and angler access to public waters, addressing aquatic invasive species, best practices in tournament fish care, addressing pollution, and conservation education.

Grants of up to $15,000 to Washington, DC, Virginia, Maryland, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania residents to assist in purchasing a home in eligible regions. This grant promotes housing justice by offering funds for down payments to qualifying BIPOC residents who are buying their first home. Funding is intended to benefit those who have been a resident of the Washington, DC and Philadelphia areas for a minimum of three years.

Fellowships to USA individuals from BIPOC backgrounds to obtain professional experience in environmentalism and conservation. The purpose of the program is to provide BIPOC professionals with opportunities to gain professional opportunities and career development in the clean energy and conservation sectors.

Grants to USA and Armenia nonprofit organizations, foundations, and charities for projects to benefit Armenian communities. Applicants must complete an eligibility quiz prior to submitting an application. Funding is intended for a wide range of activities that focus on improving the quality of Armenia’s public education system.

Grants to USA businesses, institutions, and organizations for activities to benefit the residential furniture industry. Funding is intended to support educational and research programs that will improve manufacturing, marketing, and management within the industry. Projects must meet the following objectives:

Grants to USA nonprofit organizations and community and technical colleges for workforce training. The goal of the program is to prepare people for careers involving skilled labor. Funding is intended to support workforce development in construction/carpentry, heating, ventilation, electrical, appliance repair, and air conditioning (HVAC) and/or plumbing. Priority is placed on programs that serve one or more underrepresented communities.

Grants to USA teachers, counselors, and educators to purchase classroom equipment, materials, and supplies. The purpose of the program is to provide students in grades 6-12 with knowledge about career opportunities in the TV and film entertainment industry. Eligible applicants and their students will watch a webinar featuring entertainment professionals who speak about their careers and offer advice for aspiring media professionals. Grants may be used for classroom needs, including media or technology equipment or other classroom needs.

Grants to Virginia communities to address water-related concerns and improve wastewater systems in eligible locations. Funding is intended to assist communities that are experiencing issues with absent or deficient water or wastewater systems. The goal of the grant program is to prevent and solve community water and wastewater issues in Loudon County.

Scholarships of $5,000 and scholarships of $10,000 to USA individuals living with epilepsy and family members or caregivers of individuals with epilepsy to pursue higher education. Funding is paid directly to the educational institution and may be used for books, tuition, and other school fees.
