The Junior League of Washington (JLW) makes a difference in the community through financial and volunteer support of programs that support pathways to opportunity through education, professional and financial development, and capacity building.
For consideration for any Junior League of Washington grant, an applicant must:
Innovation Grants
Innovation Grants award funds to new and/or pilot programs aimed at filling gaps in education, professional development, and/or financial development in the community. Programs must address at least one aspect of the JLW defined focus area. Preference will be given to applicants presenting creative and data-driven solutions to unmet and/or under met community needs.
Additional Geographic Information:
Applicants must be located in the greater metropolitan Washington, DC area. For grant purposes, the Washington, D.C. metropolitan area includes: the District of Columbia, the Counties of Montgomery and Prince Georges in the State of Maryland, the Counties of Arlington and Fairfax, and the Cities of Alexandria and Falls Church in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
