Awards to Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC young innovators and entrepreneurs in eligible areas in recognition of outstanding performance. Selected awardees are promising individuals who are making an impact in the startup and tech industries. Nominees must be aged 25 or under at the time of nomination. Awards will be given to the most promising and accomplished future leaders in Washington, DC's startup scene. Individual honorees must be residents of the Greater Washington area and employed in the region. That area includes D.C. and the following jurisdictions: City of Alexandria, Va., City of Falls Church, Va., Arlington County, Va., Fairfax County, Va., Loudoun County, Va., Prince William County, Va., Montgomery County, Md., Prince George's County, Md.
Washington Business Journal is looking for individuals making a difference at local startups, budding founders working to get their own companies off the ground, student entrepreneurs balancing college courses and building a startup, or individuals supporting the innovation community.
